The five of us were seated quickly on a very cold day, which was great! The restaurant was packed and the service was speedy. Most of us got the Reren Signature Lamen. I've never had lamen before and I thought this was really good. The broth was flavorful, the noodles were delicious, and the pork was very tender. The soup has no spice in case you're sensitive to spicy dishes. The portions were a great size for a good price. This was just what we needed for a cold day, and much more worth our while to grab dinner here instead of inside the Capital one arena before the Caps game. Check them out!

Our first time with Lamen was delicious! Came to try a new soup dumpling place after the Art Museum, before the Wizards game. The soup dumplings were small in comparison to others, but tasty and the perfect temp. Grandma's scallion pancakes were so crispy but the meat inside was a different temperature which seemed odd. The bao buns were yummy too. My matcha boba was a little lacking in flavor and coldness ... plus the boba ratio was off. But otherwise we enjoyed our quick meal with very attentive service considering it was busy.

One of the best places I have found in the city for such a good price. I dined in with my partner on a Monday night around 8pm, there were only a few tables still sat in the restaurant. We were starving and I had come here with the intention of getting some fried dumplings. When we ordered we were informed they didn't offer their dumplings fried, so I changed my order to the wings and my partner got the soup dumplings (which we had never had). Service was good and my favorite part was they gave us plenty of time to decide what we wanted. The wings were HOT when they arrived at the table, crispy on the outside but perfectly cooked on the inside. I was so impressed because to get wings that large crispy, people usually overcook the wings to the point they're dry. These wings were anything but. The soup dumplings were DELICIOUS, and I am not a fan of steamed dumplings. Absolutely incredible. The General Tso's chicken was a must have, same crispy-ness as the wings but then the sauce's flavor was that perfect spice and sweetness. They also put a decent amount of sauce on the plate, so you could get extra dips. The string beans literally tasted like someone had just picked them from a garden, crunch and fresh. Everything we had was phenomenal and clearly made with love. The entire time we were there, uber eats/door dash drivers kept arriving and I understand why. Perfect place for take out and if you're in the area definitely dine in. 10/10, and I can not wait to go back and try more dishes.

Great fast-casual place to dine. Staff was very friendly and attentive. I came here last minute with a friend with no reservation and was seated very quick. The food is good- not the best dumplings/noodles in the city though.

We checked reviews and wanted to check this place out for ourselves. We arrived and were seated promptly. Waitresses and everyone working were extremely attentive. We ordered the General Tso, wings with sauce on side and boba. Everything was delicious! 1. Wings were fried with the perfect breading ratio making them super crunchy. They were seasoned and flavored just right. Mumbo sauce was also good. 2. General Tso was amazing and the best I've tasted in a very long time. Pricing for everything was reasonable as well. This place is highly recommended!

We loved having Chinatown less than a 30 minute walk from our hotel. And we were immediately drawn to Reren for their spicy noodles. We came just before 6pm to try and beat the dinner rush. We were quoted a 10-15 minute wait and we took a seat in the waiting area comfortably across from their bar. It's a great hole in the wall place! I ordered the spicy noodles of course, my boyfriend ordered the Taiwanese pork plate. Both came with fermented cabbage (my favorite!). The broth for the spicy noodles was absolutely delicious. The noodles were chewy, more of a skinny wheat noodle. The Taiwanese pork plate was very traditional. Everything about it was amazing. We even ordered a lychee boba drink. It was made at the bar, shaken, boba chewy and soft. Better than I imagined. Nothing like a boba shop, but did the job when I needed something sweet to counteract the spicy broth. Looking for a great hole in the wall, casual restaurant? Try out Reren!
